Air Scrubbers are used to remove airborne particles from the air and are particularly useful in premises damaged by fire and mould or in premises contaminated by asbestos particles. An Air Scrubber draws in air from the surrounding environment; the air passes through Hepa quality air filters to remove fine airborne particles such as soot or mould and then the air scrubber pushes out the clean fresh air. The use of an air scrubber can quickly improve the quality of the air in a contaminated environment.

Hepa Vacuum Systems can be used in conjunction with Air Scrubbers to remove fine particles from affected areas. Westaway uses Hepa filter vacuums to remove fine soot, mould particles and the fine chemical powder released by fire extinguishers.
