Hi Mick,

Just a quick note to let you know how much of a fantastic job your team did in moving us to our temporary accommodation in Kingscliff.

Both Brendan and Leean were outstanding in packing  all our belongings the day before the move, taking great care in wrapping and marking all the boxes to make life easy at the other end.

As far as the removal side, Lou and his offsider were very meticulous in both taking good care of valuable furniture and packing into the container to enable a break free move.

Mick you have a fantastic team at Westaway Restorations, and they made what normally would be a stressful job a pleasure one to embrace and enjoy.

GREAT WORK GUYS AND GIRLS.

Look forward to having you move us back into our home real soon.

I wanted to drop you a quick email to let you know what wonderful staff you have. I had my carpets cleaned this morning by a gentleman by the name of Gary and a young man. I have had my carpets cleaned by your company 4 times now and have been impressed with the quality of the work as well as the professionalism of your staff. I was first introduced to your company when you did some clean up after a hail storm a few years back (insurance job).

Your staff were extremely professional from the time they walked into my home, firstly by introducing themselves, and handing me a brochure on your company.

Often these days people don't get to hear good feedback on work, only complaints. So i just wanted to thank you for a great job and say to keep up the good work, your staff courtesy and professionalism and attention to detail was very much appreciated and i will be sure to tell friends about your company.

Dear Westaway,

I would like to thank you and your team for the wonderful service that you provided for me in the middle of the night of 29 August 2006 when many parts of my house were flooded.

This occured at a particularly difficult time for us as my husband, Robert, underwent heart surgery and was very ill and could not walk or relocate to 'higher and drier grounds'.

Both Robert and I gained some maintenance of composure and comfort from the Westaway staff who came immediately to assess the situation and attempted to dry out the water - affected areas, with caring and environmentally appropriate consideration of the patient's needs.

Your team was considerate and sensitive both on the night and on subsequent visits. It is greatly appreciated at a time when stress levels were very high in our situation.

Most people would not reflect on how much the staff of your company could have on the wellbeing of ill people and their partners, but I am certainly in the position of acknowledging the consideration and expertise of you and your team who provided service as representatives of your company. I am happy to be sharing my gratitude for the work you and your team do.

Water Damage Claim – Letter of Appreciation

Having regard to the direct and constant personal involvement that I had with you and with members of your office during the processing of the above Flood Damage Claim, I felt it appropriate that I should address this letter of appreciation directly to you. At the same time hoping that you would pass on my sentiments both to the State Office of APIA and their head office as well as Australian Alliance Insurance, and to any other agencies concerned with this matter.

I would also like to make particular mention of the professionalism of Westaway Restorations Pty Ltd. Their early “arrival on the scene”, at the time when I was feeling particularly devastated as to my loss of so many personal things, was a considerable, and continuing, salve to my distress.

I cannot speak highly enough about the way this Claim was handled at all levels, whether electronically, telephonically or by letter. Also the fact that at no time did I have to speak to an answering machine of any description was particularly reassuring. With many thanks once again.

Your firm recently (19th October) attended our home at Fairway Walk, Banora Point, following serious water damage due to a huge storm delivering over 120mm of rain in the space of less than an hour.

Under the direction of Darrell Hermes-Smith, your wonderful ladies Donna and Paula plus many more over the next few days endeavoured to restore our home and contents to a useable degree.

We were distressed with all our damage but the outstanding caring and professional attitude of all your staff should not go without mention. I will also advise the GIO Insurance of your excellent work.

The walls dried out perfectly due to Darrell’s attention to detail and have now been repainted.

People are amazed to hear of organizations like yours that take so much pressure off the “storm water victims”. Joan and I would like to thank all of your employees for their outstanding help, courtesy and professionalism in our difficult time.

Service excellence was also received by the assessor Ken from McLarens who did an amazing and professional job notwithstanding the large number of claims he would have had to deal with.

I will also send a copy of this letter to Ken.
